Correspondence Courses

Deaf Missions Basic Bible Study
Deaf Missions is happy to offer a home correspondence course, the Deaf Missions Basic Bible Study. Designed for deaf people who are just starting to learn about the Bible, it can be a valuable foundation for deeper study.

What does the correspondence course include?

  • Twenty-three lessons for the Old and New Testaments that can help you learn important facts to be used as a foundation for deeper study.

  • Full-color charts, pictures and step-by-step instructions.

  • Review questions about the Bible verses that were studied in each lesson.

  • A copy of the Good News Bible (Today's English Version) which the course uses.

  • An easy-to-use three-ring binder for the lesson sheets.

    How does the course work?

When the questions for a lesson have been completed, they may be mailed back to Deaf Missions. A staff member will then personally grade the lesson and answer any other questions that may be asked about the lesson. The question sheet will then be returned to you. (The same procedure applies for each lesson until the course is complete.) A certificate is mailed when the entire course is completed.
