Mark 3 (5)Our Bible Reading today tells us about the twelve men Jesus chose to be His special disciples. These men lived and worked with Jesus for about three years. Their job was to share the Good News about Jesus. These twelve men personally knew Jesus, so they were able to tell others about Him.

Many people today know about religious rules and ceremonies, but they do not really know Jesus. People around the world celebrate Christmas, but they do not have a relationship with God’s Son. Many Christians talk about things in their lives more than they talk about Jesus.

We need to get to really know Jesus. We can do that by learning about Jesus’ life from the Bible, talking with Him every day when we pray, and completely depending on Him to lead us.

Take some time today to think about Jesus. Then decide to love and serve Him every minute of your life! — SH*

“Jesus answered, ‘The work God wants you to do is this: to believe in the One that God sent.’” John 6:29

PRAYER: Father, thank You for Your Son, Jesus. Show me how I can tell other people about Him today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
