Bible Reading: Mark 3:1-6

Mark 3 (2)The Jewish leaders were scared of Jesus’ power and jealous of the great things He could do. These leaders wanted to kill Jesus. But first, they had to catch Jesus doing something wrong. The Bible tells us that never happened. Why? Because Jesus was perfect, and He never did anything wrong.

The devil is always watching us, just like the Jewish leaders watched Jesus. The devil wants us to give in to his temptations and sin. He wants to separate us from God and our relationship with Him.

The devil may try to work in your life today. Maybe he will fill your mind with thoughts about things in this world instead of thoughts about God. Maybe the devil will try to make you lose your temper so that you say/sign bad things to someone.

Be careful today! Don’t give in to the devil. Make sure that you are following God’s Word, the Bible. — SH*

“Control yourselves and be careful! The devil is your enemy. And he goes around like a roaring lion looking for some person to eat. Refuse to follow the devil. Stand strong in your faith.” 1 Peter 5:8-9a

PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, I need You to help me stand strong and resist the devil today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
