Ecclesiastes (3)

Bible Reading: Ecclesiastes 3:1-14

Ecclesiastes (3)In our Bible Reading for today, Solomon reminds us that there is a right time for everything that happens in our lives.

Solomon says that there is a right time for us to hate and a right time to be sad. God hates evil things and we need to hate those things, too. And we may be sad when we are sick or when someone we love has died.

But sometimes we do not understand what God does. Then we begin to doubt that God is really in control of the world. If we understood everything that God does, then we would be as wise as God. We need to respect God and know that He is all-powerful and all-knowing.

As Christians we need to trust God and His decisions. We should remember that God always does what is best for us, even if we don’t understand what He is doing. Then we will have peace and true joy in our lives. — KP

“I learned that anything God does will continue forever. People can’t add anything to the work of God. And people can’t take anything away from the work of God. God did this so people would respect him.” Ecclesiastes 3:14

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, You always know what is best for me. Help me to accept Your will for my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
